Reconnections

In what we consider to be Jesus’ authoritative teaching on the lifestyle of the disciple, John 15:1-17, Jesus speaks about a balance of “abiding in Him and bearing fruit” in the world. While The Carpenter’s Helpers represent the fruit-bearing side of this equation, serving alone without heart development only leads to burn-out and frustration. Reconnections is a training ministry that helps leadership and men develop the “abiding” part within the body, along with a leadership model to help develop the heart necessary to start and then maintain enduring ministries. It is the balance of heart development and foot movement that we believe Jesus both lived and taught as the model for “making disciples who observe all He commands.”

At the Reconnections website, you can find useful information about where we believe the church now stands in regard to her Great Commission, where she needs to go, and how we believe she can get there. You will also find access to Mike Wolff’s inspirational books concerning the foundations for Reconnections and TCH, a powerful and healing way to enter into a Communion service unlike any you may have experienced before, and a contemporary devotional he has written to help you through one of the most ancient and personally empowering disciplines available: Praying the Psalms. There are articles, book reviews, poems, and blogs, along with instructions as to how Mike can team with you to help your church build an effective, externally-focused men’s ministry to reach your community with hearts for Jesus and their fellow man.
