About Us

The Carpenter’s Helpers is a relationally and faith-based community service ministry, originally founded in 2005 to provide for needs of those who are physically and/or financially unable to help themselves. It’s about local churches, para-church organizations, Christian schools and externally focused individuals coming together to help those less fortunate in neighborhoods around them. TCH wishes first and foremost to manifest Christ’s love in real and tangible ways in a defined area, so meaningful relationships can be formed for the benefit of both giver and recipient. We provide a vehicle by which groups, families, and individuals can become involved in local missions, performing tasks that range from home and yard work, to providing help with shopping and transportation.

But it’s more than just serving. TCH is about total commitment to a community. It’s Great Toilet Swap 2010about involvement in community men’s and women’s groups, homeowner’s associations, an individual lives. TCH isn’t merely about serving—it’s about the transformation of hearts in our volunteers and those we serve. It’s not about “days to serve,”but a servant lifestyle. That’s The Carpenter’s Helpers, and we’d love to help your fellowship, be it church or small group, to begin a lasting ministry to the needy in
your community.
